1. Browser-based tools

Some PhotonMR tools run directly in your browser. For browser-based tools such as PDF Eraser, your file is processed on your device during normal use. The PDF is rendered and edited in your browser. For PDF Eraser, the file remains on your device and is not uploaded to PhotonMR servers during the normal browser-based editing workflow.

Your PDF remains on your device while using the PDF Eraser in the normal browser-based workflow. The final edited file is generated in the browser for you to download.

2. Server-based tools

Some PhotonMR tools require server-side processing, such as converting a file, extracting information, or generating an output that cannot reasonably be created in the browser. Proforma Invoice to Excel and PSW Imports GD to Excel require file upload to a processing service.

Uploaded files/data may be temporarily retained only for processing and error handling, then deleted. PhotonMR does not save user information for its own database or future use.

For the PFI tool, the uploaded PFI PDF is temporarily processed on Google server infrastructure. Extracted text/data is sent to Gemini LLM free-tier model for sorting and structuring into Excel format.

Avoid uploading highly confidential, legal, compliance-sensitive, or restricted documents unless you understand whether the specific tool is browser-based or server-based and are comfortable with that processing method.

3. Information we may collect

We may collect limited technical information such as browser type, device type, approximate usage timestamps, pages visited, error logs, and IP address where needed for hosting, security, analytics, abuse prevention, or service reliability.

If you contact PhotonMR by email or through a contact form, the information you provide may be used to respond to your request.

4. Analytics

PhotonMR may use basic analytics to understand which pages and tools are useful, identify errors, and improve the website. Analytics data is used in aggregate where practical and is not used to sell personal information.

5. Advertising and Google AdSense

PhotonMR may display advertising, including Google AdSense, if advertising is enabled on the website. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads, measure performance, prevent abuse, and comply with their policies.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Google's advertising systems are governed by Google's own policies.

6. Third-party services

PhotonMR may rely on third-party services for hosting, analytics, email, storage, AI-assisted processing, security, or advertising. These providers may process limited data as needed to provide their services.

7. User responsibility

Users are responsible for choosing the right tool for their documents and for reviewing outputs carefully. AI-assisted and automated extraction can make mistakes. Always verify generated Excel files or edited documents against the source file before business, banking, import, finance, tax, customs, or official use.
