What the tool extracts
The tool is designed to capture common PFI details required for payment and import documentation, including supplier, importer, shipment, item, value, currency, Incoterms, origin, bank/payment, and other relevant details when available in the PDF.
Upload limits
PDF only. Current upload limit: 1 PDF file. Multi-page PDF invoices are supported.
How to use it
- Choose or drag a proforma invoice PDF into the upload area.
- Click Convert to Excel and wait while the file is processed.
- Your browser downloads the generated .xlsx file automatically.
- Open the Excel file and compare it with the original PFI before use.
Processing and privacy
Your uploaded PFI PDF is temporarily processed on Google server infrastructure. Extracted text/data is sent to Gemini LLM free-tier model for sorting and structuring into Excel format. PhotonMR does not save your information for its own database or future use. Files/data may be temporarily retained only for processing and error handling, then deleted.

Yes. This is a server-side tool. Your uploaded PFI PDF is temporarily processed on Google server infrastructure.

Can it process multi-page PFIs?
Yes. Multi-page Proforma Invoice PDFs are supported when the PDF content can be extracted by the processing service.
Can I upload scanned PFIs?
This tool currently accepts PDF files. Do not assume scanned or image-only PFIs will extract correctly unless the output confirms the data.
Is the Excel output final for banking work?
No. AI-assisted extraction may make mistakes. Always compare the Excel file with the original PFI before banking, import, finance, or official use.
What should I check before using the output?
Check supplier, importer, shipment, item, value, currency, Incoterms, origin, bank/payment, and any other relevant details against the source PDF.
